The dolgaunt is a creation of the Daelkyr from their invasion of Khorvaire. They were created from hobgoblins to act as commanders of the lesser aberrations. Dolgaunts resemble eyeless, emaciated hobgoblins, festooned with tendrils and cilia. Most dolgaunts eschew weapons and armor, preferring their tentacles and unarmed attacks. They sometimes use other magical equipment, such as enchanted belts or cloaks.
